World Wide Knit in Public Day

Calling all knitters, crocheters, or those who would love to learn! Join the Matamata-Piako Libraries to celebrate World Wide Knit in Public Day, by coming along to Matamata, Morrinsville or Te Aroha library on Saturday 11 June from 9am-1.30pm. Bring along your work in progress, some supplies to knit on the day, or just yourself if you are new and wanting to learn. Our staff and volunteers will have some yarn and needles available to help you get started. Some of our participants will be knitting for Foster Hope and we will have some basic patterns available on the day. Refreshments provided.
