Rerewhenua Na Te kakariki Railside by the Green is committed to improving social services in the Matamata community and district, and welcomes being able to network with other organisations.
Railside by the Green is governed by the Matamata Community Resource Trust with the objective to promote, facilitate, encourage and develop the advancement and support of community services of a charitable nature in the Matamata district. The facilities and services are available to the people and organisations of Matamata and the wider district.
Railside by the Green is located in the old railway station building, and was established in 2002 in response to a community need to provide facilities for the use of community and organisational groups.
